SVP Outpatient Vascular

American Vascular is looking to add another SVP of Operations. They will work under the supervision of the COO on the management of daily operations and profitability of AVA managed Centers. This position is a multi-faceted, highly visible leadership role working with the Center Mangers and Physician leaders of the OBL/ASC's in our portfolio. You will be responsible for an assigned region, requiring sound leadership in the development and execution of strategy over all center operations. The SVP will be responsible for identifying problem areas and coaching, directing managers and their teams in achieve overall goals.

This is a full time role, based out of your home office and requires travel to individual sites in your territory, as well as occasional trade shows and company meetings. Must live in the Eastern or Central Time Zone and have relatively easy access to an airport. We offer a compensation package with a range of $125K - $150K + annual bonus, depending on relevant experience, certification, education, previous success and job fit. About the role

  • Operational leadership for joint ventures, managed, and owned AVA Centers. 
  • Work with each market leader to set operational goals and quality metrics that can be measured and evaluated to drive performance and efficiencies.
  • Establish and utilize KPIs to improve performance by promoting a metrics-driven culture and collaborative partnerships.
  • Build, coach, and mentor Center Managers in the assigned region. Accordingly, travel to the designated Center locations is required on a relatively frequent basis.
  • Identify key strategic issues facing clinic operations and craft impactful solutions. Recommendations will enable the executive management team to make critical decisions.
  • Ongoing evaluation of clinic operations structure, ensuring policies and procedures are intact.
  • Develop strategic recommendations to support patient experience and improvement initiatives in the field, including innovative approaches for measuring and reporting position-specific level performance.
  • Develop, distribute, and evaluate Standard Operating Procedures creating consistency, efficiency, and improved productivity.
  • Provide leadership and P&L ownership over the market, collaborate with your team leaders to implement, and manage business operations.

  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations. 

What we would like to see from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Outpatient healthcare experience is a must.
  • 6+ years of exp managing a P&L within a healthcare delivery setting, preferably in an OBL or ASC.
  • Experience managing multiple clinics and markets within a healthcare setting is required. 
  • Demonstrate a metrics-driven approach and be able to establish and utilize KPI’s to improve performance.
  • Working knowledge of clinical operations, revenue cycle, EHRs, federal regulations and compliance.
  • Expert organizational and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success.
  • Can easily articulate key levers that influence cost center performance.
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking, analytical ability, and sharp business acumen.
  • Possess an elevated level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office.
  • Experience working with EMR’s such as eClinicalWorks.  
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth organization
