Clinical Center Director
Our Duval Vascular Center is looking for a Clinical Center Director. The Center Director is an integral part of the Vascular Center team and focuses on the daily operational management to include referrals, physician relations & the overall patient experience. This role is responsible for maintaining a patient & family centered care environment. The Center Director employs the tools and skills of continuous quality improvement & effective leadership to ensure a highly reliable clinical operation. This Center Director should be qualified & prepared to handle all clinical situations that occur during any imaging or interventional procedure & be attuned to the diverse needs of the community such as language, ethnics, religious and sexual differences.

The typical duties of this role are:
- 24/7 Organization & Management of complete clinical operations
- Collaborate & communicate with all levels of American Vascular Assoc., Physicians, staff, referring providers
- Daily, weekly, monthly reporting to senior management
- In person marketing, outside sales, physician relations, & building relationships with potential referring providers
- Responsible for clinical standards, policies/procedures including Compliance Processes, AHCA, OCHA, HIPAA, applicable state regulations
- Participate in implementing standards to ensure safe & therapeutically effective service to patients & families
- Administer staffing patterns to accomplish affective daily operations, promoting cost effective utilization of personnel.
- Assist in the recruiting, hiring, evaluating &n off-boarding of staff
- Maintains current policies/procedures which meet Medicare, Medicaid state, etc. laws
- Assures ongoing assessment of patient/family needs and implementation of interdisciplinary team plan of care.
- Assures physician approval of plans for continuity of medical care.
- Provides individual or group support concerning job related stress or issues.
- Organizes the center to delineate and delegate authority, functional responsibility, lines of relationship and communication to provide safe and therapeutically effective service.
- Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information with adherence to HIPPA laws.
- Accepts responsibility for regular attendance and punctuality fulfills job requirements without regard to time involved.
- Develops a cooperative relationship and communicates effectively and professionally with the physicians.
- Investigates and reports any problem relating to patient care or conditions which might harm the patient and/or employee well-being.
- Immediately reports any accident, incident, lost articles or unusual occurrence to the Regional Director.
- Works with Regional Director in identifying budgetary requirements and determining appropriate use of allocations.
- Oversee your Center’s ongoing quality Assurance program
- Responsible for overseeing development of indicators with appropriate data collection, aggregation and analysis, taking action and reporting results according to Center’s PI plan
- Conducts monthly audits to ensure documentation compliance, billing accuracy
- Addresses and corrects all patient concerns
- Maintain employee satisfaction index to the goal of 85%
- Keep quarterly Patient Satisfaction rate above 95% (Weekly follow up calls to patient).
- Maintain Vendor relations.
What we would like to see from you:
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Licensed by the state(s) where currently practicing in your clinical specialty.
- Maintain current AHA ACLS and BLS
Infection Control
- Demonstrated knowledge & experience with infection control policies
- Proven experience working with transmission precautions
- Demonstrated knowledge of Aseptic/Sterile technique required for procedures performed
Leadership
- Experience as a preceptor teaching formal lessons within the facility
- Coaching staff to make recommendations for improving delivery of services and care as it relates to the Center
- Experience in a former leadership role where you had to respond to emergencies or acute changes in patient status
- Background and experience discussing patient's care with Clinicians, building plans for appropriate interventions
